hey there!
Who am I?
Some words to describe me:
Proud Mommy. International education leader, coach, and writer. Global citizen. Lover of art, photography, folklore, and folk craft. Traveler, creative, and children's author.

"Life-long learner" has become a bit of a cliche, but in truth it's a phrase that best sums up my dedication to personal development, my belief in our potential to always become better than we are, and my voracious reading habits. My core values are self-love, empowerment, and leadership, and I continuously learn about these through teaching. Teaching others, teaching my son, and teaching through coaching, writing, and reflecting on my learning and that of my colleagues and clients.
The most impactful learning for me this year is that "Goals are for growing; not for getting" (Bob Proctor, 2021). If you are interested in learning more about your own growth and potential, let me know. I'd love to connect and support you with creating a life of greater growth, significance, and impact!

My first adventures were through books. I've always learned about our world and my inner world through the written word. Books change us by challenging and changing our thinking. I could talk for days about pivotal books that have shaped my life, challenged prescribed narratives, and dismantled my limiting paradigms.

Here's what I'm currently reading (or reading again):

Playing Big by Tara Mohr
This book is an absolute must-read for women and includes important exercises for quieting one's inner critic to amplify the inner mentor. Mohr defines playing big as "being more loyal to your dreams than your fears," whatever that is for you.

You Are a Badass by Jen Sincero
With wry wit, Sincero uses the art of storytelling to help readers identify limiting beliefs to create a life you love NOW!
"Because so often when we say we're unqualified for something, what we're really saying is that we're too scared to try it, not that we can't do it."
~ Jen Sincero
